About
Ms. N. Sowmya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at ACE Engineering College, Hyderabad, with over 7 years of teaching and academic experience. She specializes in Structural Engineering and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at JNTUK, Kakinada, focusing on the role of bacteria in improving concrete properties & crack healing capacity.Â
Her expertise extends beyond the classroom, with active involvement in research on sustainable construction materials and bacterial concrete. Her work focuses on practical implementation of innovative solutions in structural engineering, bridging the gap between theory and practice, and thereby enriching both her teaching and the academic community.Â
